Well i certainly had the scrapbooking bug last night, cause i got in and scrapped 8 pages, this is another one.

I love remembering the little things i had forgotten about when scrapbooking. Like how beautiful my daughter looked every time she wore this little outfit.

Embellishing your page is a big part of scrapbooking and i chose to add rosettes to this page using Stampin Up designer series paper. cutting out some leaves with the little leaves sizzlits to accent the rosettes.

Little additions stamp set and i love the way that i could two stage stamp to create a scene with it and got to journal with the stamp to add the birth details. As i continue to grow and learn scrapbooking the more i find how addictive it can be and how more and more i can incorporate my beloved cardmaking and stampin' up! into it.

Catching up on some seriously needed scrapbooking, with christmas and new year and now the end of january, i have photo's everywhere begging for homes, so thought i would put together some simple double page layouts together to get most of them out and on the page.

I love the Big Shot and the Bigz die's, especially the Stampin up! simple letters bigz die. They are fantastic, they cut out chip board, cardstock, dsp, material, tin and about 50 other assorted materials.

Above i have just cut out plain chip board and distressed it with stampin up Pacific point ink. The letters just fill up the page so quickly its great. Popped these two pages out in 30 minutes. Fantastic.

Male Valentine's Day card - Stampin' Up! Dinoroar

Quirky Valentine's Day Card for that little guy in your life. Or Big Guy who is young at heart.

Using my Stampin' Up! Stamp write markers i coloured the tree's from the Stampin' Up! Lovely as A Tree stamp set and stamped on to my card stock. Then i stamped the dinosaur from the Stampin' Up! Dinoroar stamp set and the grass. Then using my markers coloured in the Dinosaur image.

Also in the Stampin' Up! Dinoroar stamp set is the sentiment I dig dinsaurs and i dig you, which seem to cement that this should be a valentine's day card instead of a childs birthday card. Hope you like it.

Tinkering with material lately and thought i would try to incorporate it into my cards. Stampin' Up! australia have products that co ordinate together and they call them a suite. The Flirtacious suite range is gorgeous and so girly. I utilised the matching material and designer series paper and matching paper doilies.

The flirtacious material i cut out using the Big Shot and the Bigz dies: Fun Flowers and Blossom Party. I wasnt really sure about this card, but it is really growing on me. Of course all of these items are available in the current Ideas book and catalogue.

SCRAPBOOKING ALBUM 101 - STAMPIN' UP! AUSTRALIAN CONVENTION Part 2

Welcome back to part 2 of Scrapbooking an Album.

I have finished the last 9 pages of the Album and completed the story from start to finish, so below are the final pages. Scrapbooking is not just about putting photo's on a paper to have somewhere to put them.

It's about recording and writting down your memories, for yourself or to share. It's about recording your personal history and a record of your life for generations to come.

So lets continue on this journey and the album.

One of the most memorible things about my first trip to melbourne last

year was the view from our 17th Floor apartment balcony of the Grande Vue

short stay apartments. We could see all of melbourne. Looking at the

photo's below, one might ask why would you scrapbook dark and dreary

photo's ? However, in this case i feel it necessary, because if you have ever been to Melbourne you would know that it always rains and its weather is shocking in winter. By all reports on the news, the day we got there had been the coldest, wettest day in 11 years. I feel the photos reflect perfectly the wet weather and conditions.

The things you really see when you have a camera. Catching a picture of traffic heading into Melbourne CBD at 7am. Oh boy glad i was just visiting. The Tea House in Melbourne, i was told is the only remaining historcial building standing and remaining in tact and is now protected by the historical society. So, if you have some dark dreary photo's don't be afraid to scrap book them, because they still tell the reader a lot.

Record the things that are common and not so common. Melbourne are reknown for their yellow cabs, and i think sydney could learn a lot from them. To look at a photo of yellow cabs full of people lined up in traffic, you would probably on its own think, how boring, but putting it into context of the album, gives it meaning and a purpose. Of course, you always will have your building shots and views.

Despite the weather at 7am and the cloudy dark grey photos, hot air balloons, came up through the buildings, now until coming across these photos, i had forgotten all about that part of my trip. It was spectacular to see, although the pictures don't depict a light happy and cheery shot. If i didnt scrapbook them, i would have again forgotten about this event. So dont be afraid to scrap a dreary photo if its significant. Just add colour and brightness to it.

The 3rd night we were there we, went to Gordon Ramsey's only restaurant in Australia

called Maze. Gordon Ramsey has his own show called Kitchen Nightmares

and as a chef, has a reputation for having a fowl mouth.

Afterwards we called into the Crown Casino on the way back to the apartment.

These next 4 pages show the events of that night.

Scrapbooking, doesnt always have to be about nice and serious photos, add some quirkiness, and cheeky

scrapbooking. Bring a giggle or an awe to your pages.

Below i have incorporated some humor into them. While the humor may not be clear to everyone, those that do know of gordon ramsey are sure to get a smile on their face.

This page is about the casino, and at the time i wasn't a scrapbooker and Sue had told me to scrap my ticket, i thought she meant throw it in the bin, lol as my winnings was an astounding $0.36 cents lol. Most leaving the casino would not brag or want anyone to know about it, unless there were a few zero's on the end. It was part of our trip and i included it to act as an embellishment to the page, So keep even the little things at the time incase you need to add an extra embellishment that will help remind you of it.

Below are pages 16 & 17, and they are about our outing to Gordon Ramsey's Maze restaurant.

The five of us dined on fine french cuisene and seven courses of them. Mind you anyone who has dined

on french cuisene knows they are traditionally small meals, however at Maze, they are even smaller

being only Sample dishes. WARNING !!!! DON'T GO IF YOUR HUNGRY.

Personally for me, i would have much preferred to have a lobster at the casino,

it would have been slightly cheaper and i would have enjoyed it more. So, for many reasons, you scrap a photo, i chose to scrap this page because it was part of the trip, i was with my friends and i certainly can say i ate at Gordon Ramsey's only Australian Restaurant. Using Designer series paper to embellish the back ground i tore the paper around the edges to try to replicate the maze logo and sponged some of the paper and then distressed the edges.

Never be afraid to embellish your pages with your thoughts, the photo's and the memories are yours and its all about you, so scrap and journal it. The first thing that came to

my mind about going there was Gordon Ramsey and other than his cooking he is well known for his profanities, so i scrapped it. Bringing back the light side of this page, i have a warped sense of humour and i like my food, so incorporated it into my pages is a must. My thoughts were, is that it, some crumbs on a plate, oh boy, no wonder he swears, he cant cook enough food to fill the plate hahaha.

Now if your horrified or laughing with me at the moment, always remember its your journey, your thoughts and your photo's on the page and these are mine. Of course, Maze is certainly not the venue to use such words, and i give you my word that i didnt.

Pages 18 & 19 are about the final night of our stay and the final event of the convention.

We had a banquet dinner and an awards ceremony.

So the pages explains, about where i was, the people i was with and what we ate.

To the left of the page, is the menu explainging the 3 courses we ate and the photos show how

in awe of the food we were, it was gorgeous and at $75.00 a head, beat Gordon Ramseys Maze restaurant hands down. Accentinig and embellishing this page, came down to choosing colours. I picked up the gorgeous colours from Stampin' Up colour collections which were printed on the menu, to help me to choose the right colours and to create embellishments with my heart punch to emulate the hearts on the menu.

After the banquet was the awards ceremony. My 19th Page is a photo of my name up on the screen and the award i received. The award was the recognition of 18 months of hard work. This was a very significant part of the reason we all were there other than the experience and trip to melbourne, so it needed to be journalled and memorialised for ever etched in my memories. So if i never receive another award as long as i live, i will always have this one and will always have this page to show for it. The embellishments are die cut flowers made with the big shot and Stampin Up fun flowers bigz die. Sponged tipped the edges and textured impressioned them with petals a plenty embossing folder and spritzed them with water and crushed them to give them the look they have to accent the page.

Final page in the Album is page 20.

Again i have left my journalling predominantly to the receipts but i have also incorporated some chip board

wording to explain what the receipts are about. The wording was created using Stampin' Up! Designer series paper from the Stampin up Neutrals stack pack of paper (great value) adhered to some chipboard and then cut out with the big shot and the bigz simple letters and numbers die. The easy way to cut out chipboard for wording. You might notice i used a highlighting marker on my page, something not tradionally used on scrapbooking pages, however the colour was right and i wanted to draw the viewers attention to the purpose of the receipt. The final page was about the journey home, the shock of arriving at the airport and realising that my luggage was four kilos over weight. OOPS !!!!!!!!!! to much shopping and too many wooden stamp sets.lol. My suitcase was so heavy they had to put a warning label on it on how to pick it up. Sorry Jetstar. Mind you they slugged me $60.00 for the privilidge of shopping in Melbourne and at Convention. But you know what, it was worth it and i had forgotten about it since then until i scrapped it.

I now will always have a permanent reminder that i shopped my heart out in Melbourne, i survived and made it home to scrap book it and tell my family for generations to come, how much fun i had

in Melbourne 2011.

Every year in Australia Stampin' Up! hold an amazing convention for Demonstrators to attend

and gather together to Create, Share and learn and 2011 was no different.

Convention 2011 was Melbourne

My first ever trip to Melbourne. I hope the following scrapbooking pages inspire you to journal your memories and travels. Scrapbooking is all about the photos and the memories. I like to when doing a specific album such as a trip, i like the album to tell the storey of the trip from start to finish. So i always start with a title page such as the page above. My 2nd and 3rd page, below is about the journey to get there, how, the when and the why.

THE JOURNEY BEGINS.

We boarded the train at Gosford to travel to the Domestic Terminal

in Sydney to fly down to Tullamarine Melbourne with Jetstar.

Below is the 3rd page which tells the reader that My friends and i arrived,

Journalling is a very important part of Scrapboooking, Journally traditionally

is all about writing to tell about the photo. Journalling can take on many forms

and as you can see in the page below I have used my flight ticket

to journal the date, the airline and the destination.

MY 4th page is all about why we were there. The Convention.

To add some different style of journalling that explained all about

the days that we were there for. The best way to do this was to add

the Agenda.

So when we arrived at convention we received our agenda on book in.

Attending Stampin' Up! convention has a tradition of swapping projects that you have made

with other talented Stampin' Up! demonstrators. So page 5 of my album is

CONVENTION - IT'S ALL ABOUT THE SWAPS

The 6th Page of my Album is about the accomodation and the

roomies. Hi Tamara, Cherie, Leisa and Sue.

We stayed on the 17th floor of the Vue Grande, Short Stay apartments

with view. Oh boy what a view, be sure and checkout some of my pages from part 2 of

Scrapbooking Convention 2011 Album.

When Scrapbooking an Album of an event, i like to predominantly

use double page layouts to tell the storey and i like each set opened

together. So i try to accent my pages similarly but not necessarily

exactly the same. The page above and below you would open the

album and view both of these pages together. Talking about the

accomodation, what was there, who was there and what we did.

Last year at convention, we socialised a lot. One of the evening

during drinks, i decided that each year we should creat a convention cocktail

and name it. I very proudly present to you

"CONVENTION 11"

our cocktail creation from attending Melbourne convention last year.

HOW TO MAKE CONVENTION 11 COCKTAIL:

1. 90 ml of Kahlua

2. Float 30ml of Pink Cowgirl on top of the Kahlua

3. Float 60mls of Baileys Irish Cream on top of your 30ml Pink Cowgirl.

WELLAH A NEW COCKTAIL CREATION NAMED CONVENTION 11.

Album page 8, starts about our adventures whilst we were there.

One of the highlights of trip was having dinner on the Melbourne

Colonial Tram Restaurant. Highly recommend it.

Page 8 & 9 are photos of us waiting for the tram, on the tram,

the tram arrival. I have included some stamping on my page, because

i find Stampin' Up! have stamps for most occasions and something to suit

for most things. Journalling again has a mixed of written word on die cuts

and souveniers from the venue, instructions on how to view the journalling.

Page 10 & 11 is the following day, which was

Shopping and Site seeing. So my page layouts represents,

the photos of what i did, where i was and what i saw.

More so what i learned.

These two pages have extensive journalling on it. Due to the amount

of journalling i needed to add, i decided to type in all on the computer

and add it onto the pages so that i could get it all on there

instead of hand writting it. This is another acceptable form of journallling.

I love adding Designer series paper to my pages to accent them. I like to

add shape to the DSP. This i do in many ways, either by using a border punch,

tearing and distressing or adding ribbon for some ideas. You may also notice

i used corner punches on the background page as well.

PIANO BIRTHDAY CARD WITH STAMPIN' UP! BIG SHOT AND EMBOSSING FOLDERS

Getting creative these days and trying new things, well, how about this piano card for something a bit different. I used a plain card and textured impressioned it with the Stampin' Up! stripes embossing folder to create the white keys. I used my word window punch to cut out the black keys and snipped the tips of them. Then hand cut out the top of the piano and lined underneath with Stampin' Up! Designer series paper musical note paper. WELLAH !!!!!!! a piano card quick simple and easy.

Introducing my first attempt at a SIX (6) FOLD CARD. Designed by monique.

I have made some adjustments to it, by adding an Easel to the back of it so that it can stand independantly

and created a belle band instead of Ribbon.

Scrapbooking your christmas memories are so rewarding, In the below post are some photos from this year, and in this post i have made a simple double page layout from my Christmas 2000 photos with my mum and son. Its rare to find photos of me as i am usually the one behind the camera. But above there is my mum, son and myself, taken christmas morning. I used for my background Very Vanilla card stock, distressed the edges with early expresso, matted my photos with early expresso and distressed the edges with the Stampin' Up! distressing tool. I stamped the large back ground stamp from Stampin' Up! En Francis in early expresso and sponged around the edges with ee also. With all the spare time over the holidays why not scrapbook your christmas photos.

Above are random photos i took of my daughter during our christmas shopping expeditions.

I used the big shot to cut out some flourishes and on top of the flourishes are some holly and berries..

The holly and berries are made with the Stampin' Up! large oval and circle punches and the Stampin' Up! peircing tool.

Simply punch out as many large oval punches in old olive or garden green card stock, using your 1/2" and 3/8" circle punches, place the punch circle half way across the edge of the oval card punchie and punch them out, go around your oval punchie to create the desired effect. Use your Peircing tool to create the viens in holly. Now using real read card stock, punch out 1 x 1/2" and 2 x 3/8"circles to create the berries. Repeat the above instructions to create as many holly and berries as you would like.

Being so proactive and involved in Christmas cards for our Australian Troops and co ordinating them, there is little time left for me to make my personal christmas cards for my family and friends. So i need a quick and simple styled card that i can crank out 33 of them relatively quickly. Brayering and experiementing with colour is fastly becoming my most favourite method of technique for making cards, especially christmas cards. The stampin' up! speedball brayer is an excellent choice for brayering with and the choice of stampin up ink pads with the vast range of colours makes it even easier.

Such colours as used i this very card, i mean can you believe that this card started out as a white glossy plain peice of card stock. It just blows me away. Ok so the colours used are: So Saffron, Crumb Cake, early expresso and soft suede. Different techniques also used in this card other than brayering are masking and sponging to give different desired effects. Hope you like it.

Recently i learned the Brayering technique, and i have been playing around with the colours. Stampin' Up! have a great speed ball brayer, which i used in the above card. The colours used are so saffron for the moon, early expresso for the tree and crumb cake for the back ground with the brayer and a sponge.

For a change of pace, i thought i would mix it up a bit and make some fun little novelty items.

These are whats called a Test Tube Gift box. Too be honest i cannot remember where i first saw them to give credit for them. But i have changed it around a little using the Stampin' Up! Designer Series paper Mocha morning which is a flocked paper and it also has a gold shimmer DSP in it also just too darn cute if you ask me and i just love love love this paper. It has a velvet texture feel to the paper, Really super cute in a stylish way.

Elegant Eggplant and Shimmering Silver are popular christmas card colours this year and it just pops.

The baubles come from the Stampin' Up! stamp set called Delightful Decorations. Also, i used the fantastic sentiment set called "FOUR THE HOLIDAYS and Christmas Greetings", a must have for any christmas card maker. I have embossed them with Stampin' Up! silver embossing powder and hit them with the heat gun. Hope you like them.

Very simple and quick cards to make. I managed to make 7 of them in the space of an hour.

Another sneak peak of the gorgeous things coming up in this years Stampin' Up! Australian 2012 Summer mini catalogue, not too long for you all to wait now ladies only 2 more weeks. Next week i will feature another couple of products from the New Summer mini in my sneak peaks. I just love how the new textured impressions folder embosses on Acetate. Give your Embossing folders a try on some different materials like acetate or even a tin can that you have punched a shape out off, thats one of my most favourite things to do, because i use empty soft drink cans to sharpen my punches and dont like to waste the aluminium punch so i emboss it through the big shot with the textured impressions folders to decorate them and add them to my projects.

WHAT CAN I SAY !!!!

I LOVE IT. This is my latest sneak peak from the Australian Stampin' Up! 2012 Summer mini catalogue, available from December 1st 2011.

What i can tell you is that i cut out the XMAS with the Big Shot and the timeless type letter sizzlets available from the Ideas Book and Catalogue for 2012 and of course the 3D baubles i have made with the Ornament punch. They are really easy to make. Simply punch out 12 ornament punchies and fold them all in half.

Next using red sticky (still folded in half) attach 4 of them together.

Once you have attached all 4 ornament punchies, then open up the bauble and adhere the two sides together to unite and join the bauble. Repeat this two more times and you have 3 quick 3D baubles.

When using the Big Shot and the timeless type sizzlits with any kind of patterned paper, always remember to face down the side of the patter you want on your letteriing so that the letters come out the right way.

WEDDING CAKE FAVOURS WITH STAMPIN' UP! BIG SHOT AND BOX #2

My son's wedding is only 3 months away and we are busy getting all the preparations done. Have you ever seen the movie my big fat greek wedding. Well did you know it is actually a documentary instead of being fabricated, they just toned it down for the film. lol well thats our family to a tee, only with a few extra relo's great aunties and 2nd and 3rd cousins. So i am trying to decide on which cake boxes i would prefer to make. I kinda like the gabled box in the first photo. But i love the simplicity of the Stampin' Up! Box #2, with the very elegent vintage wallpaper textured embossing and the rosette. Really cannot decide on which one i should make. WEDDING INVITATION IDEAS WITH STAMPIN' UP! SHIMMERING CARD STOCK

I have been very busy preparing for my sons wedding and making the wedding invitations and envelopes and thought i would share them with you all.

Above is the actual wedding invitation and envelope you can see i have used the brushed metallic silver Stampin' Up! card stock and used the scallop trim border punch to decorate the edges.

The centre i used my Stampin' Up! Big Shot and the mini designer embossing folder for the centre.

To draw your eye to it, i lined it with glossy white card stock. I used the timeless type to cut out their intials and interlocked them and then highlighted them with Stampin' Up! snail and dazzling diamonds.

The belle band is made with Stampin' Up! white organza ribbon and snailed together with the whisteria wonder in colour ribbon and a ribbon embellishment, Tadah a classy wedding invitation.

The envelopes i embossed with the Big Shot and Elegant Bouquet embossing folder. Really quite easy.

DOUBLE SCRAPBOOKING PAGES WITH STAMPIN' UP! EN FRANCAIS LARGE BACKGROUND STAMP

Stampin' Up! new little Beau Chataeu 6 x 6 Scrapbooking album is making it so much easier for me to grasp scrapbooking with because it is not much bigger than a card and is a great way to start scrapbooking with out being over daunting and having to go straight to a big girls scrapbooking page of 12 x 12.

Above a 2 pages or double/dual page scrap layout in the 6 x 6 album that i did and they were so easy and quick to do. I used the Stampin' Up! En Francais background stamp in choc chip on very vanilla cards stock and cropped the photos down to as small as i could and matted them with choc chip card stock and sponged the edges of the pages with a sponge and some choc chip ink and wella, two great quick scrap pages that dont look too bad i think, what do you think, look alright.

QUICK AND SIMPLE CHRISTMAS CARD IDEAS WITH STAMPIN' UP! EMBOSSING POWDERS AND DOUBLE EMOSSING TECHNIQUE

HERE IS LITERALLY A 2 MINUTE CHRISTMAS CARD.

It was so easy and very quick to do, the technique is called double embossing.

Firstly, using your Stampin' Up! Brayer and Big Shot embossing folders, roll on a coat of

VersaMark ink on the inverted pattern side. Then place your Stampin' Up! designer series paper with the pattern you prefer facing downward. Using your Stampin' Up! Big Shot emboss it through the machine.

Then, carefully not handling it too much, sprinkle your Stampin up embossing powder on it, in this case i have used black and be very generous and smother it with embossing powder.

Then using your Stampin up heat gun, heat and melt the embossing powder, you will see how it melts and be able to flow on from it.

It leaves you with a very shiney, glossy altered coloured back ground and the sentiment without the colour.

Scrapbooking is my fetish at the moment, i guess, when it ignites a fond memory of a particular time or event

of significance in your life, you want to keep going. Our family holiday to the USA was one of the biggest

events in our lives and was and is to date the most wonderful holiday we had to date. So to be able to put it all down on paper (DSP), is wonderful. To think back now 11 years ago, i couldnt tell you all the intricate moments but i guess thats why you rely on the photo's because if i was to tell you about the trip, these few moments i would not have rmembered. Like my sun on Hollywood Boulevard, finding his idle Michael Jackson's star and eating at Hard Rock Cafe and finding Elvis Presley's Harley Davidson.

There were so many huge highlights, that the minor highlights get forgotten.

That's why scrapbooking your holidays and memories is so very necessary.

Above i have used the Mocha Morning Speciality paper from Stampin' Up!. It has a texture like velvet, and raised design, it is gorgeous to work with and makes a stunning accent. I stamped the back ground with the co ordinating stamp set Elements of Style, which is also currently available in the Australian 2012 Stampin' Up! ideas book & catalogue.

DUAL PAGE SCRAPBOOKING WITH YOUR STAMPIN' UP! BIG SHOT AND MEDALLION STAMP

Scrapbooking is still relatively new to me and i have a mountain of photos that need to be used up,

so back into the files from 11 years ago and came across these ones and thought it would make a great dual page layout. They are from our family holiday at Disneyland Los Angles in 2000. Yes my son thought he was stronger than the Genie from Aladdin the movie and we got to meet Mickey. My long awaited childhood dream of riding in the Tea Cups came true.

The interesting thing about the photo's is that i got several sequences of photos in a row, so i have displayed them as they occured trying to create a slide effect. The beauty of this was that i actually got to utilise 5 photo's. Journalling is a really big part of scrapbooking so that generations that come can know what the picture's are actually about. Journalling can take on many forms, either using a pen and writing or using your Stampin' Up! Big Shot and timeless type and accenting the journalling, as i have done above.

Scrapbookers predominantly do not do a lot of stamping in their pages, not sure why this is, but i love stamping and the Stampin' Up! Medallion stamp is a large background stamp specially made for back ground stamping on Scrapbooking pages. Give it a try next time on your page.

HOW TO CLEAN YOUR STAMPIN' UP! STAMPIN' SCRUB !!!!!!!

Everyone know's that you use your stampin' mist and spray it on your stampin'scrub to clean your stamps.

But did you know you should also clean your stampin'scrub.

Stampin' Up! ink pads are all water based ink's, so i gently run my stampin'scrub opened from the top pad down to the bottom pad, under a warm water running tap. You will be able to see the colour of water change to a variety of colours as it runs down through both pads. Once the water becomes clear again you will know that both pads are cleaned of ink.

Now, if you use a lot of solvent and pigment inks and clean them on your stampin' scrub be sure to spray it with stazon cleaner before running it under the tap, this will help move the inks out a little better.

DID YOU KNOW Stampin' Up! stampin' Scrub pads are replaceable? Whilst i have never had to replace mine after 4 years of constant use on a daily basis, there will come a time when they may wear thin and need replacing, if this happens, give me a call or email me and i will be able to order you a set of replacement pads. STAMPIN' UP! BEAUTIFUL SEASON - LOOKS AMAZING COLOURED AND STAMPED ON CANDLES

Stampin' Up! Beautiful season is sure to be one of the new biggest selling christmas stamp sets this year, it is so popular. I love playing with it and to colour the robin on the branch is so sweet.

Candle stamping is one of my favourite christmas gifts to give.

Above i stamped on tissue paper with Stazon black solvent ink and then coloured in the image with

my stampin' up stamp write markers. The marker colours i used were: Cherry Cobbler (of course), Always Artichoke, Garden Green, Soft Suede and Choc Chip. The ribbon used is the reverse side of the cherry cobbler spotted scallop ribbon new in this years catalogue. Please excuse the candle as it was just a cheap one to give it a trial run on.

I love these pages, they are a twin page layout in my 6 x 6 Stampin' Up! Beau Chateau album and they are of my mum and her mum (my nan). Journalling is an important part of scrapbooking but did you know it doesn't always have to be written. It can be in titles and in this instance i have used Stampin' Up! Having a bit of a scrapbooking fetish of late, here is another simple 6 x 6 page for my Beau Chateau Album. Being new to scrapbooking, i am finding it a lot easier to do 6 x 6 scrap page albums as they are not much bigger than a card and seem less daunting.

Stampin' Up! Australian 2012 Catalogue would have to be the best yet. I just love how all the products make it so easy to scrap book. Being a novice scrapper and very new to it, i find it difficult to co ordinate my pages, but this one seem to just fall into place. I used the delicate doilies stamp set, lace ribbon border punch and the doily punch and stamped with early expresso. This would have to be my most favourite page yet. I hope you like it.

I have used Stampin' Up! Cherry Cobbler and basic black in card stock and ribbon. The ink is craft whisper white..

The pattern to the back on the black card is the new stitches stamp around wheel in whisper white, i love it.

SIMPLE CHRISTMAS CARD IDEAS USING THE STAMPIN' UP! BIG SHOT

The Stampin' Up! Big Shot would have to be my most used Stampin' Up! item.

I use it for everything, cutting chip board, material, tin and certainly textured impressions onto my cards.

So this would have to be one of the quickest ever christmas cards i have ever made, it literally took less than 2 minutes. I used an textured impressions folder and run it through the Big Shot, then ran around it with some glitter and glue. The sentiment is from the Teeny Tiny Sentiments stamp set and punched with the modern label punch.

With the amount of christmas cards i need to make each and every year, this one is sure to be popular for me to be making this year.

For the longest time now this has been on my mind to create. I call it my Christmas card Caddy.

At christmas do you just get so many christmas cards and you really dont have any where to hang them. Well this handy little caddy is a great place to pop them in and still have them on display. TRACEY'S PAPER TILED CHRISTMAS CARD IDEA'S

PAPER TILING is relatively new to me, thought i would give a try. Not sure that the photo depics the layering in the images but the ribbon is the 3rd layer, the 2nd layer is the ribbon and holly and of course the 1st layer is the full image of all of the above. I printed the image of the internet 3 times and marker coloured it 3 times and then attached the first full image to Crumb Cake card stock. Then coloured the image a 2nd time and cut out the candle. I then marker coloured the same image a 3rd time and just cut out all of the image and kept the bow. I sponged around the edges with Stampin' Up! Cherry Cobbler ink

(did i mention it is my new favourite stampin up colour at the moment). Each layer of image is popped with foam dimensionals to give it a total 3D image and of course depth.

BIRTHDAY BANNER IDEAS WITH STAMPIN' UP! BIG SHOT AND PERFECT PENNANTS

My gorgeous DD turns 9 years old today and we are celebrating big time, with a huge party with 24 of her closest friends at the local ice skating rink. But i wanted to surprise her when she wakes in a few hours so i made her, her very own personalised "Birthday Banner".

Now its really quite late/early hours of the morning so my camera really doesnt do the pretty colours and favours but i used Stampin' Up! Pretty in Pink and Elegant Eggplant.

Now to make this really cute birthday banner i used the Big Shot and the very new Bigz die "Perfect Pennant", how wonderful is it. It cuts out the pennents and the cute scalloped circle and then i used the timeless type for the lettering. Snailed on the letters to the circles and then popped them with a few foam dimensionals on the back. I used the crop a dile to punch some holes in each of the pennants and threaded elegant eggplant ribbon through them and tied them off with a bow on each end. VALENTINE'S DAY CARDS WITH STAMPIN' UP! I DIG YOU

It's early i know, but i couldnt help myself, this card has been nagging me to be made since the minute i laid eyes on the new 2012 Stampin' Up! Australian catalogue and saw the I dig you stamp set.

I know valentine's day is months away, infact only 4 months away and i know the i dig you stamp set is designed for cards for little boys, but i couldnt resist.

You know how you can never really find a card for a guy that doesnt say "I love You" for valentine's day or if you are newly dating and dont want to say the "L" word. Well how about using words like

"I dig You! ". Well that's where this card is a big hit. It's unisex and it doesnt have the "L" word in it.

What do you think ? It could work. Anyways if you like the colours i used they are

Cherry Cobbler (my new fav) and Always Artichoke.

Christmas cards are my most favourite cards to make. I love the range of Christmas Products that

Stampin' Up! Australia have available in our new 2012 Catalogue. Plus all the accessories that it

has to accent with. Take the above card. I used the big shot to emboss the lattice pattern on the card with the lattice textured embossing folder and the used Letters To Santa Designer Series Paper, Designer label punch to embellish my sentiment, which came from the Beautiful Season Stamp set, and of course the jumbo brad is in choc chip. I love this card, the first of many many more christmas cards to come over the following months. P.s. by the way the above 3 cards are all the one card, just wanted to show you how a little bit of ribbon can change the look of the card, either with a bow or a loop or both.

Last month I had a lovely lady by the name of Linda Moore join Stampin' Up! Australia and our delightful team here on the Central Coast of NSW Australia. Linda is the president of my local Lions Club and they love to serve our community and donate their time and resources to our local community, much like stampin' up!.

Tonight was the Dinner meeting of the Chittaway Bay Lions Club, and they invited me and Stampin' Up!

along to give a demonstration on Card Making so that they could widen their horizons on ways to fund raise for the community.

Tonight, I taught one of my favourites, how to make a gorgeous Scalloped circle Easel card in a few different colours.

The lioness's were not so sure they would be able to make it, by the end of the demonstration Linda and I taught the whole meeting to make one each. Tonight they learned the art of using a die cutting machine called a big shot, textured embossing and a few other techniques such as sponging, stamping, punching and adding dimension to cards. It was wonderful to share the art of card making and sharing it with my lioness's and watching their faces as they accomplished their own easel cards.

I would like to thank Chittaway Bay Lions Club for inviting me along and thank you for a wonderful wonderful dinner, it was yummy. I hope i dont forget anyone and please forgive me if i do but here goes:
