launch! And i dont mind saying what a great job they did on the night.

Everyone had a wonderful exciting and fun night with lots of crafting and some wonderful projects made.  New friends were made and our team finally got together, we did have some team members away, and they were sadly missed.  We misssed you Yvonne, Kim and Leanne. Gee we had fun, hope you can make it next time. From left to right: Tina, Sue, Alicia, Helen, Tracey, Sarah and Jess.  It was so wonderful to see all the happy faces and ladies having such a great time. It has been so long since i did a Tri Fold shutter Card that i felt it was time to give it another go.

This time it is for my dear friend Sue Poile's 50th Birthday,  I know you are snooping to see your card, so happy birthday to you lol. PLEASE VISIT SUE ON HER BLOG AND HELP US CELEBRATE HER 50th BIRTHDAY ON WEDNESDAY CLICK HERE.

And in true form i thought i would put you into the celebrations as well, so you can have a sneak peak of whats coming up next week in the new 2011 catalogue.

But you will have to wait till next week for me to tell you what it actually is.

What i can tell you is that i made the matching envelope as a bag. 

INSTRUCTIONS FOR TRI FOLD SHUTTER CARD A4 CARRY BAG:

Using an A4 sheet of card stock, in colour of your choice, in the landscape position,  gently fold it in half and pinch the top to mark the half way point.  In the landscape position score 1/2" down either side of marked position. Now score 1" in on 3 of the sides.

Fold all of your scored lines and fold in and over lap the side with red sticky and join it together.  The bottom of the bag, snip the small square bits up to the scored lines and red sticky and fold them inside the bag.

To finish put some red sticky on one of the long sides of the bottom of the bag and fold it up to form the base of the bag and then fold up the other side to adhere to the bag.  For handles i used the current rich razzleberry polka dot ribbon and our designer brads.  Decorate to taste or to match your card.

Here we are another sneak peak from the Stampin' Up! 2011 New Catalogue.

I needed to make a wedding card for a former Stampin Up demonstrator who also happens to be the sister of one of my downline.  Hello amanda and jess.  Congratulations amanda on your wedding on the weekend.

I just cant wait to reveal to you all what this amazing sneak peak is called and just how elegant it makes a wedding card, or any sort of formal card look spectacular.  I just love it.  I have used a very simple basic combination of Very Vanilla Card Stock, the top note die and Elegant Eggplant cards stock and ink.  Oh and a real favourite of mine, the bird punch.

This sneak peak was made with christmas cards for the troops  in mind, one that would literally only take me a few minutes to whip up, in fact it only took me 3 minutes to make this card. So i can honestly tell you, i will be cranking a fair few of these ones out to send to our Diggers overseas in combat missions so they can send them home to their loved ones in australia. Anyways, how do you like Sneak Peak #5, its a great and easy card to make for workhsops, or if you are like me and need dozens of hand made christmas cards each year that you send out, it is a quick and easy card to meet the quantity that you need.  If you would like some more details on how to make this card, pop back in after September 1st and i can tell you a little more about it. I made this 3D gift box for my son Caine as it is his birthday today,

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MY SON LOVE YA LOADS. LOVE MUM.

It's easy to make, take a A4 sheet of card stock and score 1" in from all four sides.  The turn you card stock so that the longest side is laying horizontal and score at 4 1/2" and 5 1/2" in the middle of the A4 Cardstock.

Fold all the score lines and fold into box shape. Snip along the 1' scored lines at each of the card stock to fold in as flaps and tape.  Then the same for the centre tabs, wellah and box big enough for your 5 x 7 " cards or the equivalent of a C6 envelope but in a box.
